Government/Regulatory Agencies

The Employee Benefits Security Administration is a division of the U.S. Dept. of Labor, and has primary responsibility for enforcement of Title I of ERISA.  Lots of good information here on labor laws affecting health and pension plans.

The Internal Revenue Service website.  You can download most of their forms, instructions and publications from here.

• www.irs.gov

The Department of Health and Human Services is responsible for Medicare.  This site will link you to several different points of information concerning Medicare, Medicaid and other government programs.

• www.hhs.gov

The Bureau of Labor Statistics is another division of the U.S. Dept. of Labor, and is involved primarily in developing statistical data about labor and economics.  The data is not particularly timely, but is accurate and broad in scope.
